AB Comm student filmmakers were also recognized in “Pelikultura: the 1st CALABARZON Filmfestival” held at U.P. Los Baños. Three (3) short features, namely “Kapogs”, “Ang Pagikli ng Buhok…” and “Puti” were short listed as films in competition in the said regional film festival.
“Ang Pag-ikli ng Buhok…” by the team of Kevin Dayrit and Carlo Jay Cuevas won the “Best Director” and “Best Cinematography” awards and was also adjudged as the “Best Festival Narrative” while Carlo Jay Cuevas´ “Puti” won the “Best Production Design Award”.
